Happy New Year! It is my best hope that you enjoyed a relaxing break! We are very happy to see all of our students back and in their routines during this short week. Welcome Back Students and Staff! The weekly update is back in full swing this week with highlights just before and after break.
No School Monday January 7, 2019: PD Day
Just a reminder that Monday is a professional development day for teachers. There will be no school for students.
Listening Tours:
Join us on January 10 at Fairview from 6-8 PM, or on January 14 from 5-7 PM at GMS to participate in the Facilities listening sessions. Here is your opportunity provide feedback about our schools and facilities. You will have an opportunity to tour the school building too. If you can not make a session, please feel free to answer the following statement on the Facility feedback form.

Dance Marathon:
Get out your Dancing Shoes! Just a reminder that the Dance Marathon is open to all community members and will be held from 5:00 PM-5:00 AM, Saturday January 5th. You can purchase T-shirts at the door on a first come first serve basis. Check out GHS Facebook Page for more details.
What’s happening in the community that students do outside of school? How about Performing at a Bulls Game!
Many of our very own Grinnell-Newburg Students performed at a Chicago Bulls Basketball Game just before winter break. I want to thank our parents for sharing this special highlight. Students from Grinnell who participated had an opportunity to represent Grinnell with dance and style!
