Superintendent Update: October 20, 2023

Weekly What’s Going Well:
Happy Conference week! It is hard to believe that parent-teacher conferences are complete, and the trimester ends in just a few weeks. The first-trimester end date is November 10, 2023.  As we know, parent-teacher conferences are a vital part of a student’s education.  They allow parents and guardians to connect with teachers and learn about their student’s academic progress and social development.
This week you received an email asking you to grant permission for your student(s) to participate in our Social-Emotional Learning Survey (SEL).  I thought it beneficial to discuss Social-Emotional Learning in today's video. Be sure to check it out!
